Message from the Alberta Beach & DISTRICT Lions Club President
Our annual SnoMo days event will be held on February 16-18, 2019, this marks our 40th anniversary
40th year of excitement, adventure and entertainment that is full of family activities that will bring smiles and enjoyment to all. SnoMo Days has transformed from a snowmobile event to a full weekend of family activities.
Snowmobiles are still a big focus but with the addition of an ATV rally, fishing derby, broom ball, over the line softball, ice breaker, hay rides, food vendors and many children events it truly has become a weekend for the whole family to enjoy. It is great to have so many community groups involved putting on events and helping out Ag Society, 3053 Army Cadets, 50+ Club, Lac Ste. Anne ATV Club, Alberta Beach Snowmobile Club, Onoway School Tour Group, Kelly Muir and crew, Alberta Relic Riders, Alliance Church, Onoway Regional Fire Services and Beach Wave Park etc. Each group puts in many hours to make their activities a great success. And remember to stop by the freeze hunger van and drop off food items or money for the food bank.
We would also like to add a big thank you to the sponsors, as it is through advertising that we are able to fund some of the costs. If the event is successful the extra funds raised by the Lions are donated back to the community. The Lions are always looking for your help either as a volunteer for a few hours or as a sponsor. This event requires both to continue to be the great success that it has been in the past. To see how you can be involved please visit www.snomodays.com to volunteer or sponsor
Thank you on behalf of all the Alberta Beach and District Lions members.
