Broomball Tournament

Broomball is played on the skating rink, with rules very similar to hockey. Each team has five (5) players plus a goalie. The centre line (Red) is used for off sides. All players must be on side to advance over the centre line. Equipment is simply running shoes and broom shaped sticks (supplied by tournament committee). The ball used is a rubberized plastic ball, a little larger than a softball.

The object of the game is to have FUN & get winter exercise! The more teams to enter, the merrier. Timing for games (starting at 10:00 am) will depend on number of teams entered. There is no cost to enter this event – sign up today!
